1. About CaribAssist

CaribAssist operates two platforms: CaribAssist, a clinical decision support application for healthcare providers in the Caribbean and Latin America, and CaribAssist Health, a bilingual podcast and media platform. These Terms & Conditions govern your use of our website at caribassist.com and all associated pages.

2. Medical Disclaimer

CaribAssist Health podcast and media content is for informational and educational purposes only. Nothing on this website, in our podcast episodes, or in our articles constitutes medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment.

The CaribAssist clinical application is designed as a decision support tool for qualified healthcare professionals. It does not replace clinical judgment, professional medical training, or established clinical protocols. Healthcare providers using CaribAssist remain solely responsible for all clinical decisions made in the care of their patients.

Always consult a qualified healthcare professional for personal medical concerns. Never disregard professional medical advice or delay seeking it because of content encountered on our platforms.

3. Intellectual Property

All content on this website — including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, design, code, podcast episodes, and articles — is the intellectual property of CaribAssist and is protected by applicable copyright and intellectual property laws.

You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, or create derivative works from any CaribAssist content without express written permission. This includes but is not limited to:

• Reproducing podcast episode content without attribution and permission
• Copying or replicating the CaribAssist app interface or clinical content modules
• Using CaribAssist branding, logos, or visual identity without permission
• Distributing our pitch deck, demo materials, or proprietary clinical content

4. Pitch Deck and Demo Access

Access to the CaribAssist pitch deck and application demo is available by formal request only. Submitting a request form does not guarantee access. CaribAssist reserves the right to approve or decline any access request at its sole discretion. Materials shared under access approval are confidential and may not be distributed, shared, or reproduced without written consent.

5. Beta Testing

Participation in the CaribAssist beta testing program is subject to a separate Beta Tester Agreement which will be provided upon acceptance into the program. By submitting a beta tester application you are expressing interest only — acceptance into the program is at CaribAssist's sole discretion. Beta testers agree to maintain confidentiality regarding unreleased features and provide honest feedback for development purposes.

6. User Conduct

By using our website and platforms you agree not to:

• Submit false or misleading information in any form
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of our systems
• Use our platforms for any unlawful purpose
• Reproduce or distribute confidential materials without permission
• Impersonate CaribAssist or its team members
• Use our contact forms for spam or unsolicited commercial communications

7. Third Party Services

Our website uses third party services including Formspree for form processing and Substack for newsletter management. Your use of these services is subject to their respective terms and privacy policies. CaribAssist is not responsible for the practices of these third party providers.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, CaribAssist shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of our website or platforms. This includes but is not limited to damages arising from reliance on clinical content, podcast information, or any other materials on our platforms.

These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of the Dominican Republic. Any disputes arising from use of our platforms shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of the Dominican Republic.

We reserve the right to update these Terms & Conditions at any time. Changes will be effective upon posting to this page with an updated date. Your continued use of our platforms after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
